The Twin Flame Journey a path of Spiritual Awakening

At the start of this twin flame journey, you think that you have just met an amazing person. They must be someone significant in your life, right? There is such a powerful and profound connection, and you may even experience a ton of synchronicities around this person. You see their name pop up everywhere, even though it is not a very common name. Angel numbers popping off, and other signs related to them. All kinds of weird dreams, and experiences that you could not make up even if you tried. It is wild, it really is. These synchronicities, and the inner knowing that often accompanies this journey can leave us questioning the deeper meaning behind such encounters. Maybe you end up dating this person for a period of time. Or maybe you don't because there are other circumstances involved. No matter the situation, there is still this undeniable connection to another person that you just can't shake. You may question if you have known them before, or had a relationship with them in a past life, because they are that familiar for reasons that your logical mind just can't explain.

Whatever the circumstances end up being for your situation, this person will end up ghosting, leaving, or exiting your life in some way. And even though, whatever kind of interaction you had was short lived. It still ends up leaving you feeling broken in ways that it should not have. This ending creates a sense of soul shock, and a literal feeling like you have just been cracked open.

The opening is showing you all of your core wounds at a deep soul level. These wounds may look like long held subconscious fear patterns, abandonment wounds, or self worth issues that you did not even know you had. Of course your mind is like what the heck is happening? I did not sign up for this. How in the world could this brief interaction with another person leave me feeling in such turmoil?

While the connection may feel magical at first, it often leads to an unexpected twist, separation. This phase, though painful serves a greater purpose on the journey. For most of us, this is where the dark night of the soul begins. We are then forced to be alone with ourselves, for perhaps a long period of time. You may feel like your whole life got put on pause. Or you just entered your own personal season of winter. Absolutely nothing new comes in or out, when you are in this phase. It is long, dark, and there is a lot of shedding, and purification happening.

It turns out this person, the twin flame is an exact mirror of your own soul. They reflect back to you, your brightest light, and your deeper wounds that need to be alchemized from fear back to love. This is a very transformative process, also known as ego death. Here the divine is asking you to let go of long held belief patterns. This usually has to do with lack and limitation, and perceptions of your self not being good enough. These old belief patterns will not serve you in this next chapter of life.

You are being called up into your divine purpose to serve in a bigger way than ever before. This is your spiritual awakening, a remembrance of who you really are. A spark of the divine light embodied in human form. You are not separate from the all that is. You are an integral part of the oneness of all things. This is everyones truth and birthright. It is the place where you come home to yourself.

So that ache that you have had in your heart space, that persistent longing, the thirst that never seems to be quenched, is really for yourself to come back into wholeness. The paradox here, is that when you are focused on yourself and your own awakening. The masculine counterpart that initiated you on to this journey to begin with, is magnetized back to you. Because you have now healed your own inner masculine and feminine energy. That shift in energy is also felt within them because you are counterparts at the soul level.

Once we have brought the light of our conscious awareness to our shadow parts, and balanced out our inner masculine and feminine energy. We are now able to access a deeper awareness within, and a more authentic layer of self. No longer acting from the wounded conditioned parts of self, so that the ego can feel safe. This is where this twin flame journey is taking you. It is a painful and beautifully transformative process at the same time, but one that is worth it in the end.
